Maine Hockey Development

Maine Hockey Development Youth Tournaments

The Maine Hockey Development LLC has been formed to organize, facilitate and operate youth hockey tournaments in Maine throughout the year. It is through our many years of experience attending youth tournaments throughout the States and abroad as well as our recent years of hosting our own AAA Series and Jamboree events that we are able to offer high quality tournaments to the Maine area.

MHD events offer many features not found in most tournaments such as extended game lengths, ice resurfacing during games and especially important is our 5 GAME GUARANTEE for all teams. Events are USA Hockey Sanctioned for USA and Hockey Canada team participation.

There are NO GATE FEES at any MHD events.

Maine AAA Series Details forthcoming

Maine Hockey Development is currently working with our partners from the Atlantic Hockey Group in Moncton New Brunswick to plan for our Annual Maine AAA Series featuring AHG spring AAA Teams from New Brunswick,Nova Scotia and recent addition of Quebec teams.

MAINE HOCKEY DEVELOPMENT ANNOUNCES MARCH CHALLENGE TIER 2(A) TOURNAMENT

MHD is please to announce the addition of the March Challenge Tournament to our 2012 schedule. The event will feature Tier 2 (Travel A) teams in a 5 game guarantee format. Divisions will include Squirts, Peewees and Bantams with game lengths of 1 1/4hr. MVP medals for each team every game and Gold, Silver and Bronze medal matches.

The event is USA Hockey Sanctioned and open to Tier 2 (Travel A) teams and Hockey Canada equivalent clubs.

Dates: March 16,17,18
Venues: Portland Ice arena, USM Gorham

MAINE HOCKEY DEVELOPMENT TO HOST MAINE RENEGADES INVITATIONAL TIER 3(B) LEVEL TOURNAMENT

MHD is pleased to announce our collaboration with the MAINE RENEGADES to host an Invitational Tier 3 (Travel B) tournament March 16,17,18 of 2012 at USM Gorham. The event will feature all of the benefits offered with MHD tournaments such as our 5 game Guarantee, extended length games, MVP awards every game, Medal rounds and NO GATE FEES.

The event is USA Hockey Sanctioned and open to Tier 3 (Travel B) teams and Hockey Canada equivalent clubs.

Dates: March 16,17,18
Venues: USM Gorham, Portland Ice arena
